Our Objectives

We seek to raise standards of living in Africa by achieving these objectives:
  • To create socio-economic structures for crafters to ensure economic stability and sustenance
  • To raise standards of living by providing humanitarian aid in Africa
  • To raise awareness about the conditions of health and education in Africa
  • To help build stronger communities by empowering them for a better living condition, to be self sustainable and provide education for their children

 


African Reflections Foundation (ARF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that receives proceeds from the African Reflections Store, as well as individual and corporate donations, towards the upliftment of the African community.

ARF News - The Basic Necessities: Water, Toilets, Privacy
ImageBasic for you, yes? Well, not for many young ladies in the rural villages of Africa. The toilets are open and almost public. No doors, no privacy and no washing facilities of any kind. At the Mkokozi School, population 624, there are two latrines. Over at the edge of the school yard is a cement structure with two rooms or stalls divided by a crumbling wall. In the middle of each of these two stalls is a hole in the floor.
