VILLAGE COORDINATOR, SALUM GOMBELA
Salum Gombela is the villages’ coordinator. He deals with village executive officers in mkuranga district and to coordinate building of wells and farms for the rural people.
Salum as the village coordinator has a number of roles and responsibilities. First and foremost he coordinate, aids and assists those individuals attempting to bring villages together through village research. Salum desires to communicate with all persons who share the same village heritage. The progress of the farms depends fully on him. Hence, he sees that the running of the farm is attained and carried out smoothly.
He provides the village with all their necessities and requirements. This is in accordance with farm inputs such as seeds, pesticides and the like.
Building of wells is supervised by Salum. He assists the builders through their working period and makes sure work is undertaken effectively and efficiently.
The most favorable places for well sitting are intersections of sub vertical fracture zones located near drainage. Salum surveys for such areas and sees that the building takes place there.
Salum searches for market of where the farm outputs can be sold. Crops are collected after harvest and supplied to Salum; he furthermore undergoes research and surveys areas where market is available for the crops.
The women of the villages face problems and have questions of which Salum attends to. He conveys messages to the uppermost individuals and sees that a solution has been undertaken.
