Team Rafiki continues development of self-sustaining projects in Tanzania
A group of volunteers known as Team Rafiki gets together with the African Reflections Foundation to continue development of self-sustaining projects in Tanzania. ALBANY, N.Y. -- Team Rafiki has been teaming up with the African Reflections Foundation to help improve living conditions in Africa. They've been collecting donations for months. Now, a 40-foot long container stocked with everything from school supplies to medical supplies is enroute to Tanzania.

ARF Founder Leaves For United States |

African Reflections Foundation Founder, Maria Pool, will travel to the United States today for another working holiday to work closely with the USA Board and other organizations to continue her mission in fundraising projects. She will be working to help make the forthcoming "Wells For Life GALA" another successful event this year. Whilst in the United States, she will be working towards meeting various organizations to create awareness of ARF work in Tanzania. |

Egan and his management team, African Reflections Foundations has a display of photos and banners, depicting the work that the foundation does in Africa, Tanzania. The photos taken from the field shows the need of the people, and how ARF commits and serve, the impact is also shown by showing the difference and change they have made in communities.

African Reflections Foundation is preparing to host its Second "Wells for Life" Gala, which will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 6PM to 10PM at the Empire State Convention Center. The African Reflections Foundation (ARF) is a 501-c3 nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raise awareness and funds to help improve the quality of life for people in rural Africa, specifically Tanzania.

WELLS FOR LIFE GALA, A Great Success |
The Wells For Life GALA turned out to be a successful event for African Reflections Foundation on Saturday June 6th 2009.
Present at the Gala were several dignitaries from Tanzania. The District Commissioner Mr. Henry Clemens was present. He explained that it was important for him to be here to support ARF as he has witnessed the good work they are doing in his District.

30,000$ Raised at Wells For Life GALA |
 Thirty thousand dollars raised at the Wells For Life GALA, held last Saturday June 6th 2009.
Money raised were from tickets and raffle sale, individual donations and sponsorship. Pledges from Tanzania in cash and in kind were also sent. Various companies in Tanzania pledge with materials for building of wells included, plastic pipes, cement, building materials, plastics water tanks .
